The Sacred Process Of Creation.

It usually helps me to summon the Inspiration and then catch it to be cooked in my mind.

Sometimes the Inspiration is already there, waiting to be sent into the Imagination office. I dissolve there but it doesn’t guarantee successful immediate catch because it seems I forget most of the things which appear there. Very often they run on high speed, falling one onto another, mixing, blinking… and they like to do it when I’m busy with something else.

Processing demands lots of concentration. Possibility of explosion is high, so make sure you’ve got enough tea beside you. Do not repeat this maneuver alone, it can be too dangerous! And this is only the beginning. It’s more like an exercise before doing some real work.

It’s more like brainstorm – depending on what I need, I process my informagination in different ways. If there’s the exact goal (there’s a comic plot or some task), it’s done easily. But if there’s no basement yet or any place for the idea and it’s something I can’t do straight away, it’s moved into the “Ideas Hard Drive” (special option of my brain). It’s because they spring up like mushrooms after the rain and they should be kept in order. But once I need them immediately, they’re barely seen. -__-
Ok, let’s say I’ve got the exact idea. Pathwalkers part 13 – that old mushroom-idea I had no chance to work with for ages.
This is my workplace… kinda. Please, take a look at each of my essential instruments. I only forgot my hammer for pencils. This is the case when I needed watercolors and paper made especially to create something amazing.

In this case I combine complicated computing with my deep artistic process. Please, notice, I occupy both of my hands to save time. Otherwise, I’m too slow working.

Then I’m taking my Start position. I won’t detail here, it’s very personal. Intimate, I’d say. At this stage I may start to draw any time, anything that’s on my mind. And it’s extremely life threatening to interrupt me here. It’s when I’m in a deep trance. Very deep trance.

Next stages are peaceful. It’s when I welcome praising and hugs. Indeed, I had to use soldering-iron in the case, pictured below. Don’t ask me why. It’s personal… That blue thingy on my good ol’ tablet is for luck.

I get double happiness in the end – both from the result and from the process itself. Yay!

After that all I need is a nap. Praising and hugs are dangerous on this stage.
